Tossa Cromwell does it again.

TrueParents, or Tossa Cromwell, is the most truth-bending apologist out there in the Moonie blogosphere right now. He replied to How Well Do You Know Your Moon with a sarcastic and incredibly immature post. I would not be surprised if he is to delete it, like he did with his post defending and explaining Rev. Moon’s affairs.

Oh my gosh! I’ve been part of a manipulative cult!
Hey, maybe I’ll go and start my own cult now. It shouldn’t be too hard to get thousands of people to listen to me speak every week. Yeah, and I’ll make them love me so much that they will tithe to my church! So then I will be able to do more for God using the church’s funds, which will be 100% auditable by the IRS!
No, I know! I’ll claim that I’m the Messiah and that people can only go to Heaven by getting my blessing. Keeheehee (giggles)! That’s going to be so easy! Anyone would fall for that!
Now Tossa… this is very cute. But we both know it is very hard to start a cult. It takes determination and strength and perhaps psychological issues and a deep, twisted arrogance. L. Ron Hubbard, one of the sickest most abusive men who ever walked this earth, is a great example. Scientology continues to grow, despite being exposed time after time of their corruption and having caused the deaths of several believers and forcing members to shun ex-members or other “suppressive persons” (SPs). Shoko Asahara is another example. His group was a neo-Buddhist organization which was deeply rooted in the practice of meditation. They also brought forth the deaths of many in a subway gas bombing. And his group still exists. These leaders are obviously not men of God, but they are man of great passion [and illness]. Their legal teams and their deceptive tactics keep their members in the dark and pull in believers despite.
Moses Berg of the Children of God (now the Family International),which still survives and does missionary work throughout the world, is notorious for their “sexual gospel”. Their leader encouraged incest and molestation. Now they reformed their teachings and try to come off as squeaky clean Born Agains. Jim Jones was an obvious passionate leader and we know how that went down. And if you don’t, over 900 people drank poisonous [a knock-off version of] koolaid out of Jim Jones’ instruction. These people were spiritual, friendly, lovable, peace-seeking people “of God”… and they thought Jones was as well. They believed this so much that they drank the koolaid.
You see… you have a testimony that Moon is the messiah because of the stories of his selfless lifestyle and the glimpses you have seen… but people had the same belief for the terrorist and guru Shoko Asahara. He meditated for hours every day and was reported to have a true, genuine love for his members and was incredibly passionate and even received support from the Dalai Lama. Sound familiar? The teachings of these men were convincing, logical, and were seen as beautiful and liberating. People had and have testimonies to the great heart, the great work, the great truth of all these wild fraudulent messiah-types. And that is just how it is. Sun Myung Moon is not unique whatsoever.
You are just following another cult leader.
