Is Hyun Jin really that bad?

There is a lot more happening than our eyes can see. And most visibly, right now, we can see Hyun Jin Moon being bashed and disliked and labeled “jealous” and “Cain”. But how much do we even know? Reports have been sent out by In Jin on several levels, through messengers like Dave Hunter, and through her own words. She called him misguided and blames Rev. Kwak for indoctrinating him… but is this all true? Is he misguided? Is he really trying to take over the church?

In Jin’s report was sent out as a chain letter and a lot of the First Gen don’t mind bashing Hyun Jin as “arrogant”, even after they clapped for his speeches and admired his work for the church for the last twenty years. And it is a fact that he gave his whole life to raise up the youth in the church and work towards accomplishing what is most important in the church: One Family Under God. He worked with people of all races and religions and helped many organizations and events that for the most part were successful.

Sure, there are a lot of conferences where people get inspired (and none of them are truly life changing), but the church’s charity and service grew tremendously in the last 20 years. And now most of these organizations that Rev. Kwak and Hyun Jin have raised up have been abolished by In Jin. The whole focus of the church has changed. It was once about being selfless and creating “One Family Under God” and now it is about perfectionism and excellence and it all sounds like it is copied from a New Age preacher. The church is selling itself out.

And where is Hyun Jin in all of this? Hyun Jin lost all his power and we only think it was because of Father’s direction, but trustworthy sources are saying that is false. It seems that Korean leaders who wanted Hyun Jin out of power put this order forth. Hyun Jin was doing a good job and was doing great leadership until he was sent to Montana for his little “break”. Why was it covered up so much? Why do we know so little about it? How come he was there? And soon after returning from his exile… he had lost all his power. All of his work for his whole life was taken by his younger brother, somebody active in the faith for only a few years. Hyung Jin, or “baldhead”, is not a bad guy and is trying to do the right thing… but does he deserve every single title in leadership? Does that make sense?

Many of you only know In Jin’s side of the story. Know this: You don’t know the full story. Don’t judge Hyun Jin so quickly, please.
